Our story
Experience Panama DMC was founded in April 1997, at a time when Panama was emerging as a travel destination for North Americans, coinciding with the departure of the Southern Command under the Torrijos–Carter treaties.
Its founder, Ana Royo, has always loved traveling. Driven by her passion, she created Experience Panama to showcase the country’s beauty to the world, with the vision of building a tour company specialized in delivering high-quality services and unforgettable experiences.
Ana designs each client’s journey with care and attention to detail, which has earned her the trust and loyalty of travelers who return year after year. Throughout her career, she has also worked hand in hand with national and international organizations that promote tourism in Panama and abroad. Today, she proudly serves as President of APOTUR, continuing her commitment to the growth of the industry and to creating lasting relationships through meaningful travel experiences.
